  • Getting to Cappadocia

Before starting the subject of transportation to Cappadocia by car, it is necessary to give a brief information about the location and borders of the Cappadocia region.

Cappadocia had wider borders in the past, today it includes the provinces of Nevşehir, Aksaray, Kırşehir, Kayseri and Niğde . Natural formations that we call fairy chimneys, valleys and architectural structures such as churches and mansions, which are cultural masterpieces, are mostly found in the towns of Nevşehir . Ürgüp, Avanos, Uçhisar, Göreme, Ortahisar, Çavuşin, Mustafapaşa are the towns of Nevşehir that draw attention with these natural and cultural formations. Cave and stone hotels are usually found in these areas. Derinkuyu and Kaymaklı stand out with their underground cities that go underground. Kozaklı and Bayramhacı are known for spa tourism and Hacıbektaş for religious tourism. Erciyes Mountain, located within the borders of Kayseri , has an important place in Turkey in terms of winter sports. Ihlara Valley is the most famous valley of Cappadocia and is located within the borders of Aksaray province.

There will naturally be many alternatives for traveling by car, which will vary depending on where you come from in Turkey. It is not possible to list all the options, but we can give information on how to provide transportation from a few of our major cities.
